The Jahra Women’s Branch of the Islamic Presentation Committee held a graduation ceremony for 135 non-Arabic-speaking new Muslim converts from 6 nationalities after they successfully completed the spring and summer courses at the Women’s Al-Noori Center for the year 2024.
In a speech honoring the new converts during the ceremony, Branch Director Shuaa Al-Shammari expressed her happiness with the commitment shown by the new Muslims and their notable enthusiasm to join the committee’s classes to learn about their religion after their guidance to Islam.
Al-Shammari stated that the spring and summer courses at the Jahra Branch included subjects in jurisprudence, creed, biography of the prophet , and Islamic morals, and the new converts also memorized some short chapters from the Quran.
She emphasized that the Islamic Presentation Committee is dedicated, through the “Teach Me Islam” project, to support new Muslims by providing educational, cultural, and social care, and training outstanding students to become preachers within their communities.
Al-Shammari concluded by thanking the supporters of the Islamic Presentation Committee’s projects, including the “Teach Me Islam” project, praying that the reward for each convert is added to the good deeds of those who contributed to their guidance and education.
