The Islamic Presentation Committee announced that October saw a significant increase in the number of people embracing Islam, making it the month with the highest number of conversions since the start of the second half of 2024.
Mohammad Al-Kandari, the Committee’s Director of Public Relations, Media, and Resources, stated that the number of individuals who converted to Islam in October reached 224, compared to 141 in September, marking an increase of 83 new converts from various nationalities.
Al-Kandari added that this increase coincides with the “Change Their Lives” campaign, which witnessed remarkable engagement in recent weeks, especially within the Family House project that has gained substantial interest from citizens.
Regarding the months with the highest number of conversions since the beginning of the year, Al-Kandari noted that March recorded the highest with 465 cases, followed by April with 326 cases, in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, Khaled Al-Sebaa, the Committee’s Director of Advocacy Affairs, highlighted that October also witnessed numerous achievements, including the distribution of over 4,768 books and pamphlets in various languages, along with approximately 1,000 promotional kits.
Al-Sebaa further noted that the Committee’s advocates conducted 330 field visits across different areas of Kuwait to introduce Islam and distributed 300 libraries containing translated meanings of the Quran in collaboration with the Kuwait Awqaf public Foundation .
He expressed his happiness with these blessed advocacy accomplishments, appreciating the positive response to the “Change Their Lives” campaign, and called for continued support to reach the widest possible audience of non-Arabic speakers.
