The Islam Presentation Committee (IPC) has announced the completion of its preparations for the holy month of Ramadan, intensifying efforts across different governorates to introduce non-Arabic-speaking communities to Islam. The committee has urged support for the Preachers Sponsorship Project to continue its Da’wah (Islamic outreach) efforts during this sacred month.

Mohammed Al-Kandari, the Director of Public Relations, Media, and Resources at the committee, stated that the IPC expands its Da’wah activities and programs during Ramadan through 76 preachers who introduce Islam in 14 languages, ensuring the message reaches the widest possible audience.

He added that the committee is set to launch the “Change Their Lives” campaign during Ramadan, a media Da’wah campaign divided into two sections:

1. An Arabic segment aimed at informing the public about the committee’s efforts and encouraging support for its projects.

2. A non-Arabic segment introducing Islam in 14 different languages.

From his side, Khaled Al-Sabe’, the Director of Da’wah Affairs at the committee, mentioned that Ramadan sees a significant increase in the number of people interested in learning about Islam, making it the month with the highest number of conversions to Islam throughout the year.

He added that last Ramadan recorded 580 new converts across the committee’s 17 branches and Da’wah offices. The committee now aspires to increase the number to 600 new converts in the upcoming Ramadan.

Al-Sabe’ highlighted that the committee focuses during Ramadan on the “Caravan of Goodness” project to introduce Islam, alongside the “Iftar & Da’wah” project dedicated to non-Arabic speakers, both of which have a significant impact in spreading the message of Islam and showcasing its compassionate principles.

He also confirmed that the committee’s preachers have prepared an extensive range of Da’wah activities and programs to support new converts, alongside various educational materials and printed resources to ensure that the message is conveyed clearly and effectively.

Al-Sabe’ concluded by renewing the call for generous donors to support the Preachers Sponsorship Project, emphasizing that it is the backbone of the committee’s Da’wah work and the most crucial initiative that helps achieve its mission, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
