The Islamic Presentation Committee announced that 244 individuals embraced Islam in Kuwait during the first half of Ramadan through the efforts of the committee’s preachers. These new Muslims come from various non-Arabic-speaking nationalities.

Mohammed Al-Kandari, Director of Public Relations, Media, and Resources at the committee, stated that this achievement reflects the strong impact of the “Change Their Lives” campaign, which the committee launched at the start of Ramadan to introduce Islam to non-Arabic speakers and educate new Muslims.

Al-Kandari added that the campaign is ongoing, with the goal of sponsoring 50 multilingual preachers and educating 5,000 new Muslims. He noted that sponsoring a preacher costs KD 250 per month, while the cost of educating one new Muslim is KD 25 per course, which lasts three months.

He revealed that the committee’s preachers have conducted 600 lectures since the beginning of the holy month, and that 510 dawah kits in various languages have been distributed during field visits and charity convoys.

Al-Kandari also mentioned that the committee has distributed 24,000 meals through the Iftar Project, targeting non-Arabic-speaking communities. He clarified that the project is not just about providing food—it also carries a dawah message aimed at conveying the spirit of Islam and highlighting its values of compassion and solidarity.

He concluded by thanking everyone who contributed to these blessed achievements and encouraged continued support for the “Change Their Lives” campaign so that the Islamic Presentation Committee can continue fulfilling its mission of spreading Islam to non-Arabic speakers in various languages.
