Annual Excellence Ceremony
2025-02-06

The Islamic Presentation Committee held its annual excellence ceremony to honor its dedicated team of preachers from various non-Arabic-speaking nationalities, celebrating their remarkable achievements and successes throughout 2024.

The event took place at Al Islah Community Center Theater, attended by the Chairman of Al-Najat Charity Society, Faisal Al-Zamel, the General Director of the Islamic Presentation Committee, Ammar Al-Kandari, along with branch managers and several key supporters of the committee’s projects.

In his speech, Faisal Al-Zamel praised the committee’s preachers for their blessed accomplishments, emphasizing the great honor bestowed upon them by God—the honor of calling others to Islam.

Al-Zamel stated that excellence and success today are not only measured by the number of new converts but by their quality and influence. He highlighted that some converts go on to become preachers themselves, guiding others to Islam, with many having inspired entire communities.

He added, “As we celebrate each preacher today, especially those who have shown exceptional dedication, we reaffirm that a distinguished preacher does not waste a single minute. They remain fully committed to their mission, demonstrating perseverance, determination, and insight.”

For his part, General Director Ammar Al-Kandari reviewed the committee’s 2024 achievements, notably the 2,702 cases of conversion to Islam in Kuwait, thanks to God, the efforts of the preachers, and the support of the committee’s donors.

Al-Kandari highlighted a major success in the “Teach Me Islam” project, which reached record-breaking numbers with 8,455 students, reflecting the high demand and interest in the program.

Expressing pride in the committee’s preachers and staff, especially those who have excelled across various branches, he stated that the ceremony serves as a small token of appreciation for their dedication and contributions to achieving the committee’s goals.

He urged all committee members to continue their commitment, strive for excellence, and stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Islamic outreach to better connect with their audience.

Al-Kandari concluded by thanking everyone who has supported the committee’s projects, announcing that an ambitious plan has been set for 2025 to expand Islamic outreach and education for new converts, hoping for continued support to achieve these noble goals.
